This position is for 8.00 hours per day, 180 days (9 months) per year, is compensated according to Lane 4(B) of the Paraprofessionals Salary Schedule, and is eligible for benefits.

Purpose Statement:

 

The role of the Student Advocate Aide is to support students below proficiency in a relational, non-punitive manner, fostering trust and rapport. This role is essential in helping students build academic, behavioral, and social skills through encouragement and tailored guidance, allowing them to stay on pace or progress within the Weber School District graduation plan. Working under the guidance of the Counseling and Administration teams, the Advocate Aide will provide direct support, help students access school and community resources, and collaborate with all stakeholders in the student's educational journey.
