A position has been declared open in the Weber School District at the District Office for a High Quality (HQ) Professional Behavior Aide/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This position is for 5.75 hours per day, 183 days per year.

This position is funded through a grant and will be funded on a year-by-year basis with no guarantee of ongoing employment. 

 

Job Description: 

The job of District Behavior Assistant was established for the purpose of supporting teachers with general education and special education students who demonstrate difficult behaviors during instructional and non-instructional activities. This will involve working with the district behavior team, principals, and classroom teachers to model, guide, and support students toward appropriate behavior through implementing behavior plans, utilizing positive behavior supports, and collecting data. This position implements and monitors intervention for students, implements classroom supports and models techniques for staff in teaching positive student behavior.
